Jinja is the adventure capital of East Africa. With so much to behold and engage in, this ancient town can never fail to amuse any tourist. Starting from its way to the town, there are several beautiful stopovers along that make the whole Jinja trip so amazing, the Sezibwa falls, Mabira forest, the tea and sugar plantations, the source of the Nile, White water rafting, city walks in the streets of Jinja and so much more.

Day 1: Sezibwa falls, Mabira forest and the source of the Nile.
In the morning, obviously after an early breakfast, be picked up by our experienced tour guide. He will give you a simple briefing about the whole trip and then start the journey to the East across the Nile.
First have a stopover at Sezibwa falls, a cultural heritage site used as a worshiping place, especially for the Baganda people. Have a guided hike through the rocky slopes to the top of the falls. The most interesting bit of these falls is the story origin of this River called Sezibwa, lucky tourists could even find the local people who go to seek for blessings from the traditional healers.
From here, the next stop would be Mabira forest for a short forest walk in the once biggest tropical forest in Uganda, and East Africa at large. Here you have opportunities of spotting different bird species, verdant flora and primates, a nature in one of Uganda’s best places with a fresh breeze.
Finally, proceed to Jinja for the highlight of the trip, a boat cruise to the source of the Nile. On reaching Jinja town, you will have lunch and then drive straight to the source of the Nile. The point where Africa’s longest river is believed to have started from, separating itself from the waters of Lake Victoria.
In the evening, have relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: White water rafting and transfer back to Kampala.
Having had an early breakfast, head for the half day white water rafting experience at the Nile River. At the headquarters, be briefed before starting off a day at the Nile. The rafting goes through the best grade five rapids, furnishing spectacular views of the forested island and roar of the various waterfalls. This is the most fulfilling adventure you will ever have on the African continent.
After a half day of rafting, transfer back to Kampala.
