Day 1: City tour and transfer to Volcanoes national park.
Have breakfast, then go for a city tour in Kigali the trip will take you to Kigali genocide memorial, national museum, presidential museum and many other eye catching sites within and around the city. Have lunch in Kigali then head to volcano national park.
The drive will take you through the rolling hills of the country hence rewarding you with magnificent scenery. Retire at the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking and Ib’yiwachu cultural village.
After having an early breakfast, you will prepare to set off for the great adventure of meeting mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. You will head to the park headquarters for a briefing. You will begin the trek as the guide is leading the trek last from 6 to 8 hours depending on the movement of the allocated gorilla family you are trekking.

When the mountain gorillas are seen, you will be allowed to be with them for only an hour. After return to the park for lunch.
In the afternoon, go for a cultural encounter at iby’iwacu cultural village, the visit will give you an opportunity to gain a fascinating glimpse into an age old culture of Rwanda and later you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Democratic Republic of Congo.
After having breakfast, transfer to goma the boarder of Rwanda and Democratic Republic of Congo. Have lunch then proceed to Bukima sector.
Retire at the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Second Gorilla trekking in Virunga National park.
After having breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for briefing. During the briefing, you will be told the rules to follow while trekking. You will then enter the jungle searching the allocated gorilla family.
The interaction with the gorillas only lasts for an hour after which you will descend back to the starting point. Return to the lodge for lunch. Dinner and overnight will be served at the lodge.

Day 5: Hike Mountain Nyiragongo.
Have breakfast at your lodge and after, go for the rewarding hike of Mountain Nyiragongo. It begins at its base on the way catch a glimpse at the many primates, birds and plant species. When you reach the summit of this mountain, you will view the powerful Lava Lake. You will spend the night at the summit shelters on this mountain.

Day 6: Descend from mountain Nyiragongo.
After having breakfast, descend from the Mountain Nyiragongo as you will rest while refreshing from the breathtaking adventure. Retire at the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Transfer to Kigali.
