4 Days Uganda gorilla and wildlife tour is the ideal package for adventure seekers with less time for safari in Uganda. The safari takes you in some of the famous national parks in the pearl of Africa like Bwindi impenetrable national park, it is positioned in the southwestern Uganda. It covers an area of 331 square kilometers and it protects 15 gorilla families in its 4 regions. Queen Elizabeth national park is 376 kilometers away from Kampala. It host a variety of wildlife and birds.
It is famous for the magnificent boat cruise along the legendary Kazinga channel and game viewing especially the Big 4 plus the tree climbing lions in the southern Ishasha sector.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable National park from Kampala.
After having breakfast, embark on the journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park in the southwestern Uganda. Along the way, you will spot the local drum and craft making community, have a stopover at the Equator to take some pictures, also feel free to grab a souvenir as you head to Mbarara town for Lunch. After proceed to Bwindi impenetrable forest. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking tour and community walk.
After breakfast in the early morning, head to the park headquarters for the briefing from the park rangers about Dos and Don’ts while tracking these mighty apes in this park. After you will be divided in a group of 8. Then enter the forest and start off gorilla trekking safari as directed by the rangers. It is a magnificent experience watching the gentle juveniles playing, feeding plus doing other interesting activities.
Gorilla trekking takes 2 to 8 hours depending on the location and movement of the group you’re trekking. When you finally meet the gorillas, you’re only allowed to spend one hour with them so remember to use it wisely. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the evening, go for the community walk around the Batwa community, and you will be entertained and given tales of their unique culture. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park and undertake an afternoon boat cruise.
After breakfast, embark on the journey to queen Elizabeth national park passing through the ishasha sector. This journey will reward you with the sightings of the rare tree climbing lions, elephants, buffaloes, primates among others. Have lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, go for a remarkable boat cruise along Kazinga channel.
The boat cruise takes 2 hours and will give you an opportunity to spot different wildlife closer like the hippos, elephants, antelopes, buffaloes and reptiles along the banks of the channel plus the water birds. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Game drive and transfer to Kampala.
Begin the day with a cup of coffee before embarking on a game drive along the Queen’s mile plus the Kasenyi trail. This activity offers you a chance to sight elephants, antelopes, lions, buffaloes, warthogs and many others. Return to the lodge for breakfast and lunch, and immediately start the journey to Kampala thereafter.
Arrive later in the evening and be dropped off at your hotel in Kampala or at Entebbe airport for your departure flight in the night.
