Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Pick up from Arusha to Lake Manyara national park.
In the morning, having had a delicious breakfast, you will be picked by our kind and knowledgeable tour guide. After a simple briefing about the whole trip, embark on the journey to Lake Manyara national park. The guide will be giving brief information about the beautiful features that you pass by and answering questions that you ask.
The journey roughly takes about three hours to reach the park. Have beautiful views of the brown savanna grasslands lying aside the highway, while watching the hospitable people of Tanzania waving at you with ear to ear smiles.
On reaching the park, have lunch and have a community walk to explore the ways of living of the local people here. You can also taste the local cuisines.

Day 2: Lion tracking and a game drive.
Have an early breakfast and then drive to the bush, to track out the tree climbing lions. These are one of the most sought wildlife species that attracts thousands of tourists from all over the world just to come and watch these rare species climb up the trees or lie up in the tree branches.
Here you will drive around to spot the kings of the jungle in the fig trees. In the evening after a simple relaxation, go for an evening game drive to spot out some wildlife species like the buffaloes, elephants, Topis, bush bucks, Oribis and so many others.

Day 3: Transfer to Serengeti national park.
In the morning, after breakfast, embark on the journey to Serengeti national park. This is one of Africa’s largest national park that expose you to Africa’s most beautiful kind of nature, the sprawling savannas, and the wildlife species so unique and beautiful. On reaching the park, have lunch and some relaxation and then go for an evening game drive.

Day 4: Full day game drive in Serengeti national park.
In the morning after breakfast, you will spend a full day of wandering in the park, hunting out for the stunning wildlife features here. Serengeti offers some of the world’s best game drive experiences, meandering through the sprawling savannas just to spot out the buffaloes, zebras, elephants, Topis, hyenas, bushbucks, warthogs and so many others. Enjoy the amazing scenery of the landscape so vast, the experience is simply unmatched.

Day 5: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park.
Having had a delicious breakfast, start the journey to Rwanda the land of a thousand hills. The journey roughly takes about 12 hours that is a full day of traveling. It will furnish beautiful views of the Virunga chained volcanoes and other beautiful features that lie along the way. Also driving through the local communities of Africa is an experience on its own.
You will reach the park in the late evening for just checking in at the hotel, dinner and then relaxation in preparation of the next day.

Day 6: Gorilla tracking and Ibyiwachu cultural village.
Early morning at 7:30am, after an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a simple briefing before commencing with the gorilla trekking experience. The experience involves a simple hike through the forest, having to pave your way through the forest with a hand stick or the real hand, walking through the thick lush but the reward is worth it all.
Spend an hour with the habituated gorillas, looking into their brown eyes, watching them play, running and feeding. Take as many pictures as you want provided the camera doesn’t have a flash.
Later on after lunch, visit the famous Ibyiwachu cultural village that gathers together all the three ethnic groups of Rwanda in only one stop point. Engage in the traditional dances performed here. A taste of the local cuisine is a guarantee here.

Day 7: Golden monkey tracking and transfer to Kigali.
In the morning at 8am after breakfast, head to the park headquarters to be briefed about the trek and then start on the move through the forest in search of the golden monkeys. Though Volcanoes national park is popularly known for its awesome gorilla trekking experiences, none the less are the golden monkey trekking experiences in this park. Watch the gold meeting the silver in one home, running up in the high forest canopies as they swing from one tree branch to another. The experience is extremely exceptional.
In the afternoon after lunch, drive to Kigali; Rwanda’s capital city for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: City tour and departure.
As soon as you get done with your breakfast, we shall start our city tour in Kigali. A trip that will expose you the Kigali genocide memorial site, National museum, craft centers and other amazing attractions in Kigali town.
