Day1: Transfer to Kidepo valley national park from Kampala.

After having breakfast early morning, transfer to kidepo valley national park of which the journey takes like 10-12 hours. Pass through the famous Luwerodistrict, using the Northern route or use the Eastern route via Mbale town. The drive will continue through the open grasslands of Nakasongola district to Gulu town. The lunch en-route will be in gulu then proceed to the park. Dinner and overnight will be served at the lodge.

Day2: Game drive and cultural encounter.

After having breakfast, embark on an early morning game drive along kidepo trails. Kidepo national park harbors a great diversity of wildlife species than any other parks in Uganda. The park has 80 mammal species recorded and the 28 are only found in this park. The game drive allows you to meet the carnivore species such as caracal, cheetah, hunting dog, bat-eared fox, striped hyena, aardwolf and many others. Some of the other wildlife to encounter on a game drive include elephants, zebra, bush pigs, warthog, Rothschild giraffe, Cape buffalo, eland and so many others. Return to the lodge for refreshment and lunch.

In the afternoon, go for a cultural encounter and experience the unique traditional dances from the Karamajong people and explore their Manyatta houses, Kraals, etc.

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day3: Hiking and community walk.

After having breakfast, embark on the transfer to Lamoji Mountain for hiking. The hike rewards you with stunning scenic views of the kidepo valley national park. You will go through the mountains and savannah landscape of the park while hiking and also narus valley and encounter a variety of wildlife plus birds. The activity gives you a chance to explore the splendid Kidepo river valley covered by borassus palm forest, the kanangorkok hot springs and many others. Return to the lodge for lunch.

In the afternoon, go for an evening nature walk and during this activity, you go through the karamajongs homesteads known as the manyattas and you will experience their traditional costumes, stools, spears, headdress among others hence encountering the karamajong life style. After the nature walk, retire back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day4: Transfer to Murchison falls national park.

After having breakfast, transfer to Murchison falls national park and this scenic drive will take through savannah grasslands to the park. Day5: Game drive and boat cruise.

After your early breakfast, go for the morning game drive and spot many wildlife species like giraffes, lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, antelopes and so many others. The morning game drive gives you a chance to spot the nocturnal animals and the hunters before they return to their hideouts as well as the early risers. Return to the lodge for relaxation.

In the afternoon after lunch, go for the boat cruise on the Victoria Nile which is the high spot in this park to view lots of wildlife species at a close and clear range. The wildlife likely to be spotted on a boat cruise ranges from hippos, elephants, buffaloes, antelopes and many others that come to drink water to refresh themselves off the scorching sun and also to enjoy fresh grass along the banks of the river in the afternoon. However also spot reptiles like the Nile crocodiles and a number of bird spices. The boat goes to the base of Murchison falls and here you get a chance to see the most lovely and powerful falls in the world. Day6: Transfer to Kibale national park.

After having breakfast, transfer to fort portal, the journey will take you through the impressive country side landscape with rural setting and local population. After having lunch in fort portal, you go for a Crater Lake hiking to gain impressive views of fort portal explosion craters.

Retire for dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 7: Chimpanzee tracking and Bigodi wetland visit.

Have an early breakfast then head to the park headquarters for briefing then after enter the forest to start the chimpanzee tracking while following the guide. Kibale national park is among the best primate destinations in Africa especially chimpanzee tracking. It accommodates a number of primates and other wildlife. The moment you meet the chimpanzee while tracking them, you are only give an hour to be with them. After tracking the chimpanzee, you will go back to your hotel for lunch.

In the afternoon, go for nature walk in Bigodi wetland where you will get a chance to encounter a number of bird species. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day8: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park.

Day9: Game drive and Boat Cruise.

After having lunch in the afternoon, go for a boat cruise on kazinga channel. Still on this boat, you will sight many animals like buffaloes, elephants, reptiles and so many others. Day10: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park.

After breakfast, embark on the trip to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in south western part of Uganda. You can choose to undertake an optional game drive en route in Ishasha sector searching for the tree climbing lions. This section of the park is well endowed with the infamous climbing lions together with other wild game that dwell in this woodland part of the park.

The tree climbing lions prefer to lie flat on fig tree branches in the mid-morning sun while waiting for their prey.  After this encounter, proceed on the drive to Bwindi arriving in the evening for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day11: Gorilla trekking and community walk.

After breakfast in the early morning, head to the park headquarters for the briefing from the park rangers about dos and don’ts while in that park. After you will be divided in a group of 8. Then enter the forest and start off gorilla trekking safari as directed by the rangers.  It is a magnificent experience watching the gentle mountain gorillas playing, feeding plus doing other interesting activities. Gorilla trekking takes 2 to 8 hours depending on the location and movement of the group you’re trekking.

When you finally meet the gorillas, you’re only allowed to spend one hour with them so remember to use it wisely. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the evening, go for the cultural walk around the Batwa community, and you will be entertained and given tales of their unique culture. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day12: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi and do a sunset boat cruise.

Lunch will be at the lodge and in the afternoon, go for a boat cruise and discover up to 29 islands found on this water body. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day13: Zip lining and transfer to Lake Mburo national park.

It covers an area of 371 sq.km and hosts over 332 bird species and a variety of wildlife like Zebras, antelopes, Oribis, warthogs among others. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 14: Game walking Safari and afternoon boat cruise on Lake Mburo.

After having breakfast, go for a morning game walk commencing at Rwonyo tourism center at 7:00am. During this activity, the guide accompanies the travelers when he is armed. A wide range of wild game is explored including Giraffes, water bucks, zebras, antelopes and many others on foot.

The walk in the savanna as you see the sun rising over it is another memorable experience. Return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, go for a boat cruise on Lake Mburo. This activity will enable you view reptiles including crocodiles, hippos, etc., plus birds.

Day15: Transfer to Kampala.

Have lunch Enroute then proceed to Kampala. You will be dropped at your lodge or at the airport.
